Tyson Fury vs Tom Schwarz Fight Outcome
Alright Sports Legends, we all saw it. The Gypsy King outclassed and outperformed Tom Schwarz during Sunday’s fight.
If you haven’t seen the fight, check it out below.
Tyson Fury put on quite a show making sure to entertain fans every step of the way. Including a fantastic ring walk with Apollo Creed’s red, white and blue attire from “Rocky IV” complete with showgirls and James Brown’s “Living in America.”
As I expected, Fury made quick work out of Schwarz downing him and winning by TKO in the second round.
Tom Schwarz looked stiff and didn’t throw many punches during the bout while Fury seemed extremely comfortable. He started orthodox for the first round and switched over to southpaw in the second. Poor Schwarz didn’t have the time to adjust to either.
I’m sure everyone’s favorite moment was when Schwarz pinned The Gypsy King to the ropes but Fury had an Ali moment, weaving his head left to right, avoiding all hits.
After being dropped, Schwarz covered up in the corner during a flurry a punches and refused to throw back, forcing referee Kenny Bayless to stop the fight with six seconds left in the round.
“I used the jab and was slipping and sliding, hands down,” Fury said. “I switched up to southpaw and caught him with a straight left and it was a good shot that would’ve put anyone away. I put on an extra 12 pounds and I really, really feel it. I haven’t had a full year out of the ring this time, I had a few months and I’m back. Return of the Mack, the Mack is back, the lineal champion.”
After the fight, Fury (28-0-1, 20 KO’s) serenaded his wife Paris inside the ring with an acappella version of Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.”
“Thank you America and God bless you all!” Fury said. “The key tonight was to enjoy myself.”
